Superman. That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of my father, what’s yours?
Hello! I’m Angeline! Been a while since I’ve written to the best subscribers ever known to mankind! 😉 From the line above, I’m guessing you guys know what this newsletter edition is going to be about….

Spot on! Today we’re going to talk about the FIRST man in our lives. Our fathers.
Growing up, I can pretty much say that my father was a full-on Asian parent; he was strict, stern and constantly pushed me to succeed in everything I did.
But he was also the most supportive, loving and caring man I have ever met in so many ways. He took notice of the little things, like when I looked tired from pulling all nighters to meet deadlines during my university days, he’d look at me with concerned eyes and asked if I was okay, and give me a hug to pull through it. It was not a big gesture, but it was enough for me to feel loved and cared for.
And that’s when I realized that there is more to my father than a tough exterior. He has been and always will be my pillar of strength in times of trouble, my trusty advisor in times of confusion and most of all my No.1 cheerleader! He was and is indeed my very own Superman. 💗
I’ve always wondered what’s on a fathers’ mind and so I figured…what better way to know than to ask the two dads in our office! Here’s what they have to say in the corner talk.

Jimmy Leong: Awesome, Sacrificial, Grateful
Ignatius Ho: To know what they want in life and to be the best they can be in whatever they choose to do and of course to be healthy and happy.
Jimmy Leong: Daddy and mummy can take care of themselves, so my son, all you need to do is live a happy life and come back to visit us when you can.
Ignatius Ho: Family time 🙂 Just a nice dinner with friends and family.
Jimmy Leong: I want to spend my day at a sea view villa with my family, enjoying seafood, beer, and a lovely sunset.
Ignatius Ho: Hahaha. I don’t have one but I do have loads of husband and wife jokes though.
Jimmy Leong: Luke, I'm your father.
Ignatius Ho: My biggest fear is their safety and health.
Jimmy Leong: Bringing home a partner at a young age. I'm too old for such a surprise.
Ignatius Ho: I want to play golf with them and refurbish or rebuild a classic car with them. This will ultimately be their first car when they are old enough.
Jimmy Leong: We will play three rounds of street fighter (video/arcade game) and the loser will have to wash all the dishes.

Ending Note
Fathers tend to be taken for granted. Safe to say that we tend to fuss over mom on Mother’s Day than Dad on Father’s Day. 🥵
This father’s day, let’s change that! Take the time to bring your No.1 man out for a nice meal, spoil him with gifts, ask him how his day has been, tell him that you love him, because underneath that tough exterior is a man that would move mountains for his child.
